One of the most affordable and noticeable ways to transform your smile drastically in one appointment is Professional Zoom Teeth Whitening. Teeth whitening is the most sought-after procedures before various events. The in-office Zoom teeth whitening ($250) will give you amazing results in one appointment and you will be given a desensitizing agent to reduce the sensitivity associated with Zoom whitening.
If you have darker shades of teeth and don’t have huge fillings or crowns on your front teeth, most likely whitening will be safe for you. The dentist will do a check up to make sure that you can do teeth whitening safely. We do not recommend whitening procedures for pregnant women and children.

There are various whitening systems available in the market. At Polaris Dental, we use Philips Zoom whitening system for our patients which is safe and give excellent results.
Before whitening, the dentist will exam your gums and teeth to make sure that it is safe to proceed with whitening. We strongly recommend to have your dental cleaning done just before whitening for very good results. During the procedure, your gums and soft tissues in the mouth will be covered and protected after which the hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to the teeth during the four 15-minute sessions. There is an activator light that makes the gel more effective. You will be given protective glasses during the procedure.
With Zoom whitening, your teeth may be sensitive during the first two days and to avoid this, we recommend using a tooth paste for sensitivity 2 weeks before the appointment. If you haven’t got a chance, don’t worry!! This is reversible. Also, we strongly recommend to take an analgesic before the appointment after discussion with the dentist.
After the procedure, you will be given the take-home kit and the trays plus the sensitivity relief gel with instructions. We will follow up to make sure that you enjoyed the whitening and you are comfortable using the kit and gel.
